Relieve soreness, aches and injuries with remedial massage, sports massage and myofascial release to help you move more freely.

Remedial massage
Ideal for treating:
- headaches and migraines
- neck and jaw pain, TMJ dysfunction
- shoulder pain, restricted range of motion/frozen shoulder
- hip and lower back pain
- chronic overuse injuries
The rigours of everyday life mean our muscles don’t always get the stretching they need. Chronically shortened muscles can pull joints and vertebrae out of alignment. This is a common source of pain, reduced mobility and decreased range of motion.
Remedial massage can lengthen your shortened muscles. The therapy involves physical assessment and manual manipulation techniques to relieve specific complaints of pain and dysfunction associated with muscle tension.
When used with other treatments such as chiropractic adjustments, remedial massage increases their effectiveness, enabling the adjustments to be made more easily and helping your body to hold the adjustments for longer.

Sports massage
Ideal for treating:
- muscle tension
- muscle or ligament injuries
- overuse injuries from any kind of repetitive work
Tense muscles are more prone to injury. Regular sports massage can help to keep your muscles healthy and supple to prevent injury and enhance your performance.
Sports massage is highly effective in treating sport-related injuries such as tendonitis, muscles strains and ligament sprains. It also provides all the benefits of regular remedial massage to relax and lengthen muscles.
The techniques are also effective for treating overuse or repetitive strain injury, whether it’s from playing sport or the type of work you do.
You benefit from Martin’s experiences of treating:
- Penrith Panthers NRL team

Myofascial release
Ideal for treating:
- scar tissue after surgery
- jaw issues (including TMJ)
- pain or discomfort following dental work
Myofascial release can improve posture, increase comfortable movement and reduce pain from muscle tension. It’s an effective part of remedial and sports massage treatments.
Myofascia refers to both the muscle (myo), and the fascia which surrounds muscle fibres and forms the tendons that attach muscles to bones. Muscle and fascia work together to support your body and facilitate movement.
Often when muscles become tight after prolonged periods of poor posture or from overuse, the fascia becomes tight and loses its elasticity. This creates a holding pattern. Even when the muscles are massaged, tension can return quickly due to the holding pattern of the fascia surrounding the muscle.
Using myofascial release techniques, Martin targets the fascia surrounding muscle fibres. By slowly making several passes over the outermost layer of the muscle and gradually working deeper with each stroke, the fascia begins to unwind.
Over time, this is effective in breaking the fascia’s holding pattern, freeing your muscles to behave the way they’re designed to.
